AN OPEN LETTER TO CHINA AND CANADA
China, with one of the most powerful standing armies in the world has been, and will continue to be, unable to induce most Tibetans to accept Chinese ways and occupation. Tibet is a country of pacifists and yet China cannot dominate and subdue them.
Canada has always both overtly and covertly enforced policies of assimilation / genocide both cultural and physical against the First Nations. And yet the First Nations still exist. Indeed in the past decades they have even recovered some of their strength and vitality.
Many powers have tried to rule Afghanistan. They may have occupied the country for a while but they were always driven out. Driven out because of the people and the terrain that fought against them.
Many people of the First and Second Nations that live in what is now called Alberta and British Columbia do not want this pipeline built.
Allow me to weave these four strands together.
China cannot make Tibetans adopt the ways and priorities of China. They cannot because of the strength of the Tibetans. They have an inner power that all of the bullets in the world cannot kill and all of the money in the world cannot buy.
The only question is, and it is one that only the governments of Canada and China can answer is;
WILL IT TAKE A BLOODY DRAWN OUT WAR?
