AlJazeera is reporting that Amnesty International has requested Canada to arrest President Bush when he enters the country to attend a conference in Surrey B.C. come this October. Before you start laughing too hard read this small quote:
‘ Bush cancelled a visit to Switzerland in February after facing similar public calls for his arrest.’
Bush recognized that if he went to Switzerland he would be staying in a 0 star Crowbar Hotel. I hope that the Canadian judicial system has the same backbone as Swiss one does.
Now here is an interesting question. As Prime Minister Steven Harper has issued his approval of torture can he be charged under the same laws?
