Until this morning the most eye catching motorcycle load I had ever seen was a full grown live cow with horns tied sideways across the back of a 125cc dirt bike. But RPG’s top a cow any day! I do wonder what the fellow coming the other way is thinking?
Syrians are fighting a Civil War using weapons from Russia and The U.S.A.. They are also using Japanese motorcycles that are built in China. The United Nations has placed observers in the country. Russia has troops in the country. Seems to me that this is just so much bigger than a Civil War in a small Eastern Mediterranean country.
This ‘War’ has every major power in the world involved one way or another. I must admit to being curious as to why everyone is so involved and why everyone apparently wants the killing to continue? I wonder if ‘oil’ might have anything to do with it?
‘Syria is the only significant crude oil producing country in the Eastern Mediterranean region, which includes Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. According to the Oil and Gas Journal, Syria had 2,500,000,000 barrels (400,000,000 m3) of petroleum reserves as of January 1, 2010.Syria’s known oil reserves are mainly in the eastern part of the country in the Deir ez-Zor Governorate near its border with Iraq and along the Euphrates River; a number of smaller fields are located in the center of the country.’
