This is what happens when greed and corruption take over. Urban Sprawl does not even begin to describe this mess. Build on a tidal flat. Open canals to carry away human feces. No drainage. Serious typhoon / monsoon combo and voila what you see is what you get.

At least 16 people died and others were missing Tuesday as severe floods paralysed the Philippine capital Manila. The death toll from eight days of rain across the country was nearing 70, with more than 268,000 people forced to flee their homes.’

Folks ask yourself one simple question; is your country supporting the government of the Philippines? If it is you are supporting corruption on a massive scale that produces suffering on a monumental scale.
